Claudia is a storyteller, a producer, and a chai connoisseur
A Chicagoan from birth, a New Yorker in spirit, her greatest compliment to date is being called the ‘American Phoebe Waller-Bridge’ by one acting teacher, two performers, and a British man at the pub.
She holds a BFA from NYU Tisch, where she trained at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, the Stanislavski, Brecht, and Beyond Program in Berlin, the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam, and Stonestreet Studios for film/tv/commercial work. She has dual citizenship in Germany from her father’s side, and has worked both regionally and internationally.
On her own time, Claudia writes and produces work for women and her queer community. She recently produced Revolt. She said. Revolt Again. by Alice Birch at TheaterLab, which sold out all nights. Claudia stays close with her collaborators and her community; always looking to connect, build, and create together.
She has worked with Fiasco Theater Company, Das Letzte Kleinod (Germany), Ars Nova’s ANT Fest, and Playwrights Horizons Downtown.
Outside of the theater, you can find her dancing at all times of the day, writing stanzas on the Q train, and fighting for causes close to her heart.
These days she’s content sitting in cafes for long stretches of time, drinking chai tea lattes.
